Where?!?

This past week there was a wonderfull experience at our house!  Yes my brother got his mission call.  Here is how the story goes.  Our whole family had been counting down for days almost weeks!  Then the wonderful Wednesday afternoon came.  Everyone rushed home from school hoping to find it sitting there in the mail box.  But NOTHING!!! Oh no!  how was our family going to get through this?  That night my sister and I went to young women's! Olivia told our young women what had happened to Quinn's call.  One of the leaders told us that this happened to her son.  Then the next day she called the post office and they had and she went and got it for him. Olivia told my mom that and so my mom called the post office. Sure enough it was there. So my mom went and got it and brought it to Quinn.Then Quinn wanted to wait til after one of his tests so he would not be stressed out about it.  So we had to wait until about 10:30 pm.  All of our wonderful supportive neighbors came over even though it was really late.  Quinn, my Mom, and my Dad opened the call alone then came and read it out loud to us. "Elder Quinn Sheffield Black you are hear by called to the Brazil mission." It was a great experience. Quinn was very happy because he was not leaving til July 11, 2012 and my older brother Collin ( who is also in Brazil) gets back on July 7, 2012 so they will be able to see each other.  We were all very worried that Collin and Quinn would not get to see each other for 4 years.  Quinn read us a couple spiritual thoughts because we had over on of the most famous story tellers in the world DONALD DAVIS over at our house, and he is not a member of the church of Jesus Christ of latter day saints.  Well it was quit an experience, a wonderful experience.  I am so happy for him! :)
